Justin Tormey - President
As President of ASAP Productions, Justin serves as the company's primary Creative Director and Producer over seeing all aspects of production from "script to screen." Justin has a strong background in film and video production. Equally proficient with all forms of film and video technology, Justin has worked with a number of production companies in a myriad of capacities. From camera, grip, gaffer and PA to director, producer, and editor he knows production through and through.

In 2004 Justin was nominated for an Emmy for producing a PSA entitled Be There for ProMusicis, a non-profit music organization. This was Justin's second Emmy nomination, after being nominated in 2001 for another PSA entitled, Fun And Games. In addition to his corporate & industrial work, Justin has produced a number of artistically and creatively successful productions - including Destination Sendai a documentary set in Japan, an experimental short film, In Nomine Filiae that premiered at the 2002 Philadelphia Film Festival, and Kiss & Tell a docu-mini (short documentary) that was voted one of the Top 250 scenes in Miramax's 2002 Project Greenlight Contest.

In September of 2002, Justin directed and edited the High Definition trailer for the feature film The Garrison, a World War II thriller set during the battle of Stalingrad. The trailer has been used as a marketing tool for the script, and was screened in at Sony Pictures Lot in Los Angeles and for independent film producers in New York City. To date Justin's trailer has generated interest from a number of Hollywood producers, and negotiations are underway to finance the feature film.

Justin holds a BA Degree from La Salle University, Philadelphia, PA. During the summer months, Justin can often be found teaching young up and coming filmmakers the art of documentary filmmaking. Justin is also currently studying the Japanese martial art of Aikido.
